Pike County, GA – Head-On Crash on Pike County 2201 Results in One Fatality and Injuries

Pike County, GA ( July 17, 2023) – A tragic two-vehicle collision in Pike County resulted in losing a Georgia woman’s life.

This occurred on July 15th, 2023.

Hailley E. Wolski, 25, from Adairsville, Georgia, sustained critical injuries when her 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt collided head-on with a 2021 GMC Sierra pickup driven by Ramon Stroud, 80, from Goshen.

The crash occurred around 8:35 a.m. on Saturday.

She was immediately transported to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, where she later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased.

A 1-year-old child, a passenger in the Cobalt, also suffered injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Stroud, the pickup truck driver, sustained injuries and was transported to Troy Regional Medical Center.

The collision occurred on Pike County 2201, approximately 10 miles east of Troy, in Pike County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division continues investigating the incident.
