Pine, ID (September 12, 2023) – On Sunday, September 10, 2023, eight individuals were injured in a crash on N. Pine-Featherville Rd, south of Pine near Lime Creek.
Around 8 p.m., Idaho State Police responded to the scene.
A 2010 GMC Canyon pickup veered off the road, plummeting about 100 feet down an embankment.
The vehicle carried five adults and three juveniles. All were airlifted to hospitals.
The driver and another adult male are still hospitalized with severe, non-life-threatening injuries.
None of the passengers used seatbelts, but no fatalities were reported.
The road remained closed for several hours due to the probe and vehicle recovery.
The investigation is still ongoing.
