Pinole, CA (September 13, 2023) – A serious multi-car accident involving a motorcycle and two Teslas occurred on the westbound 80 Freeway, just west of Pinole Valley Road, on Wednesday, September 7, 2023, around 7:17 a.m.

The motorcycle rider suffered a left eye laceration, facial injuries, and a possible broken shoulder.

Emergency responders transported the rider to John Muir Hospital.

The motorcycle, showing significant front-end damage, was towed from the scene.

Details about how the collision happened remain unclear.

The investigation is still ongoing.
