Portland, OR (September 18, 2023) – Two individuals suffered life-threatening injuries after a vehicle crashed into a bridge pillar in Southeast Portland’s Buckman neighborhood on Sunday, September 17, 2023.
Responding to a 3:09 p.m. alert, officers reached Southeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard beneath the Morrison Bridge.
Both victims, unidentified by the police, were hospitalized. Their current medical statuses remain undisclosed.
The collision caused significant damage to the driver’s side, deploying airbags.
While specific crash details aren’t public, police believe speed contributed.
