Potomac, MD (February 4, 2023) – Emergency crews from Montgomery County were called to the scene of a crash in Potomac that resulted in injuries.
On February 3, the Montgomery County Police Department and local firefighters were notified that a crash had occurred on Interstate 495.
At approximately 5:15 p.m., a collision blocked the outer loop of the Beltway and the area near exit 41 at River Road.
Firefighters from the Montgomery County (MD) Fire & Rescue Service assisted the police in securing the area.
Paramedics were called to the scene to care for one person who suffered injuries. The victim was then transported by EMS to a local hospital for further treatment.
The circumstances surrounding the traffic accident are currently being investigated.
