Powder Springs, GA (April 29, 2022) – Police responded to the scene of a fatal two-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle on Friday, April 29th in Cobb County. 

The victim has since been identified as 55-year-old Perry Pless, a resident of Powder Springs.  

The collision took place at about 2:00 p.m. at the intersection of Windy Hill Road and Powder Springs Road when a 2018 Toyota Camry was traveling southbound in the lefthand turn lane of Powder Springs Road at the same time that a 2006 Suzuki GSX750 Katana motorcycle was in the righthand lane going northbound Powder Springs Road. 

The Toyota then turned directly into the path of the Suzuki. The rider attempted to brake but crashed into the passenger side of the vehicle.

The driver of the Toyota Camry was unharmed and declined medical aid at the scene. 

Pless was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
