Powderly, TX ( July 27, 2023) – A tragic collision occurred on FM 2648 resulting in the fatality of all three individuals in a Toyota Highlander.
The accident involved an 18-wheeler, and it happened just before 11 a.m.
It occurred on July 24th, 2023.
According to reports, the 18-wheeler failed to yield the right-of-way to the Highlander, leading to the collision.
The crash caused the Highlander to be pushed under the semi-truck trailer.
As a result, the driver, Mary K Cooper, and passengers Janet K Carter and a 16-year-old child lost their lives.
The driver of the 18-wheeler, identified as Clarence Fowler from Valiant, Okla., was reportedly uninjured in the accident.
The authorities are investigating the crash to determine the exact cause and circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
