Preble County, OH (September 13, 2023) – A motorcyclist died following a collision on State Route 503 near West Alexandria on Monday, September 11, 2023.
At approximately 8:33 p.m., Preble County Sheriff’s deputies rushed to the crash scene involving a Ford Explorer and a motorcycle.
Roger Kinney, 55, from Bronston, Kentucky, rode the motorcycle southbound on SR 503 without a functional headlight.
Meanwhile, a 64-year-old Brookville man halted his Explorer at an intersection’s stop sign.
Kinney’s motorcycle crashed into its passenger side as the Explorer proceeded west.
Kinney was rushed to Kettering Preble ER in Eaton, later succumbing to his injuries.
The investigation is still ongoing.
