Prince George’s County, MD (September 13, 2023) – A fatal hit-and-run claimed the life of a pedestrian in Accokeek on Monday, September 11, 2023.

Officers reported to the 14700 block of Livingston Road near 11 p.m.

A car, moving northbound, struck 24-year-old Adam Emmanuel Douglas from Clinton, Md.

Douglas was rushed to the hospital but was later declared dead.

The driver fled the scene and is yet to be identified.

Authorities are now trying to identify the car’s make and model.

The investigation is still ongoing.
