Queens, NY (March 22, 2023) – An apartment fire in the Elmhurst section of Queens reportedly left at least one person injured. Authorities say that it happened on Wednesday morning, March 22nd, at approximately 4:55 AM.
Firefighters, police, and paramedics were dispatched to the scene of a fire that broke out inside an apartment located at 86-25 Dongan. Avenue. Once crews arrived at the scene, they worked to battle the flames and search for any injured or trapped residents.
At least one person was located injured at the scene. Paramedics worked to help the wounded victim, but no details have been released concerning the nature of their injuries.
At this time, the events that triggered the fire remain under investigation. No additional information has been released.
