Queens, NY (February 6, 2023) – On Monday morning, February 6th, emergency responders were notified of a traffic accident with injuries in Queens. The accident took place at about 9:23 a.m. at the intersection of 129th Street and 109th Avenue.
According to authorities, two or more passenger vehicles approached the crossroads at the same time, subsequently colliding with one another. A bystander dialed 911, and dispatchers sent paramedics and police to the scene.
After arriving at the crash site, emergency crews located the vehicles involved, which had sustained significant damage. The occupants of the vehicles were treated at the scene by EMTs.
At least one person was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment. Their present condition has not been verified.
Police officials cannot confirm the cause of the crash as an investigation is ongoing.
