Queens, NY – Azizbek Soliev Killed in Pedestrian Accident on 164th St near Chapin Pkwy

Queens, NY (July 16, 2023) – A man identified as 20-year-old Azizbek Soliev lost his life in a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred in Queens. The wreck was reported to officials in the area on the evening of July 15. 

At approximately 6:00 p.m., responders went to the crash site to render aid. The incident occurred when he was involved in a collision with a Mercedes Benz and a Jeep. 

Soliev was traveling along 164th Street near Chapin Parkway in Jamaica Hills when a motorist inside a Mercedes Benz opened his vehicle door in his path. Soliev hit the door and fell off of his bike into the path of an oncoming Jeep. 

First responders who went to the scene after receiving calls concerning the incident found Soliev on the roadway suffering from severe bodily trauma. He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where he later lost his life. 

Police in Queens continue to investigate the details of the crash.
