Queens, NY – Bicyclist Hurt in Crash on 99th St near 35th Ave

Queens, NY (July 18, 2023) – A bicyclist was injured as a result of a crash that occurred in the Queens area.

On July 16, emergency crews were called to the site of a crash on 99th Street. Reports show that a bicyclist was riding in the area of 99th Street and 35th Avenue when they were struck by a vehicle.

The bicyclist sustained injuries in the crash. The victim was treated at the scene and rushed to a local hospital, where they underwent emergency care.

The involved vehicle fled the scene of the crash but was identified as a red SUV.

The incident is being investigated at this time.
