Queens, NY (March 24, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident in the South Ozone Park area of Queens resulted in injuries, according to law enforcement. It happened at approximately 11:36 a.m. on Friday morning, March 24th.
Reports filed by authorities show that two or more automobiles collided after the drivers involved entered the area of 142-40 Bascom Avenue at the same time. Emergency dispatchers received a call concerning the collision and immediately sent crews to the scene to provide assistance.
After arriving in the area, paramedics worked to help the individuals involved while other responders secured the scene and assessed the damage. Authorities say that at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital for additional care, but no further details are available.
At this time, the events that led to the collision remain under investigation.
