Queens, NY (February 12, 2023) – On Sunday afternoon, February 12, a car accident happened in Queens that resulted in injuries.
Police and paramedics went to the scene shortly after the crash occurred to render aid.
Preliminary reports show the incident occurred on the Queens Midtown Tunnel in the area of the East River Crossings. An unknown number of cars collided, injuring those involved.
At this time, little is known about the details of the accident. Traffic was stopped back to Greenpoint Avenue while responders were at the crash site.
Authorities in Queens are working to determine the cause of the incident.
