Queens, NY (February 16, 2023) – Authorities say that a bicycle-vehicle accident left one person injured in the Astoria neighborhood of Queens. The collision happened at approximately 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of 41st Street and Astoria Boulevard South.
According to reports, an unidentified bicyclist entered the junction and was subsequently struck by a vehicle that approached the area at the same time. A call for assistance was reported, and emergency crews arrived at the scene a short time later.
EMTs were witnessed at the scene assisting the victim, who was then loaded onto a stretcher and taken to a local hospital for further treatment. At this time, the condition of the victim has not been verified.
Authorities are investigating the events that led to the collision.
