Queens, NY (January 21, 2023) – Eight people sustained injuries when a school bus occupied by passengers was involved in a collision in Queens on Wednesday, January 18. Reports show the crash occurred just before 3:00 p.m.
Information from preliminary reports shows the accident occurred on 51st Avenue near 66th Street in Maspeth. Footage from the scene shows a red vehicle with significant front-end damage.
What caused the collision remains under police investigation at this time. The roadway was closed while emergency crews worked in the area, causing delays in traffic for some time.
