Carbon Monoxide Poisoning in Queens

2.20 Queens, NY - Four Hospitalized After CO Leak in Jackson Heights

Carbon monoxide is often called the silent killer due to the fact that its fumes are colorless, tasteless, and odorless. For this reason, it can be difficult to identify a case of carbon monoxide poisoning. If you have been a victim of carbon monoxide poisoning, it is important to find out what caused it. A New York personal injury attorney will be able to conduct a meticulous investigation of the events surrounding the incident.

If it occurred in your house, a faulty product, like a stove, heater, or other appliance that uses gas was to blame. A defective product that is leaking gas combined with poor ventilation can go unnoticed until it is too late. If this is the case, you may have ground for a product liability suit. If the poisoning took place on someone else’s property, a New York premises liability lawsuit can be filed against the property owner.
