Queens, NY (April 5, 2023) – A motor vehicle collision in the Bayside section of Queens resulted in injuries, according to local authorities. It happened at about 11:44 a.m. on Wednesday morning, April 5th.
Reports filed by law enforcement show that two or more vehicles collided after the drivers involved entered the intersection of Corporal Kennedy Street and 28th Avenue at the same time. Emergency crews received a call regarding the crash and promptly dispatched crews to the scene to provide assistance and assess the damage.
Upon arriving at the scene, EMTs worked to help the individuals who were hurt in the crash while other responders secured the area and cleared the wreckage. Authorities say that at least one person was taken to a local medical center for further care, but no additional details are available.
At this time, the events that caused the crash are under investigation.
