Queens, NY (March 19, 2023) – Just after 6:30 a.m. on March 19, the New York Police Department was dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of an accident in East Elmhurst.
Preliminary reports show the vehicles collided on 94th Street at the intersection of Astoria Boulevard. The crash prompted authorities to shut down multiple lanes at the intersection while assisting.
Emergency medical services reported to the crash site to render aid to the victims who suffered injuries. At least one of the people involved in the crash was transported to a local hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
