Queens, NY (February 19, 2023) – Just before 10:40 p.m. on February 18, emergency crews were dispatched to provide assistance on-site at a motor vehicle accident that left at least one person injured.
According to law enforcement, vehicles collided on the Long Island Expressway during the evening hours. The incident prompted officials to close off multiple lanes of the roadway near Exit 22A-E.
At least one person sustained injuries in the accident. Paramedics were dispatched to provide medical care to the victims at the scene before transporting them to area hospitals for further assistance.
The incident remains under investigation at this time.
