Queens, NY (May 23, 2023) – A crash took place in the Astoria area that sent one person to a local hospital with injuries.
The accident was reported just after 7:30 p.m. on May 23.
Reports from the police indicate that a moped was involved in a collision in the area of 37–18 28 Avenue. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the damaged vehicles blocking the roadway.
An FDNY ambulance responded to the scene to care for the victims. Medics transported the injured party to a local hospital for emergency treatment.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
