Queens, NY – Multi-Vehicle Injury Wreck on Van Wyck Expwy near Hillside Ave

Queens, NY (July 14, 2023) – At around 7:30 p.m. on July 12, an accident involving multiple vehicles was reported in the Kew Gardens section of Queens.

According to crash reports provided by local law enforcement, the New York Police Department and firefighters were prompted to respond to the scene of an automobile accident that occurred on Van Wyck Expressway.

Multiple vehicles reportedly collided on the highway in the area near Hillside Avenue. Emergency crews immediately shut down part of the Expressway as they worked to remove all of the involved vehicles from the scene.

Injuries were confirmed as a result of this accident. EMS with the New York Fire Department responded to the scene to provide treatment to the injured victims and transport them to area hospitals.

The investigations surrounding this accident are currently underway.
