Queens, NY (March 30, 2023) – One person was reportedly left critically injured following a major house fire in the Forest Hills neighborhood of Queens. The deadly incident happened at around 9:09 a.m. on Thursday morning, March 30th.
Reports show that fire crews were dispatched to the scene of a house fire at 110-18 62nd Drive and arrived to find a fire on the second floor. After responding to the incident, firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze and locate any injured residents.
Crews located one civilian who was severely injured, and EMTs immediately began performing CPR. The victim was then transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. No further details are available on their condition at this time.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, and further information will be provided once new details are released.
