Queens, NY (February 18, 2023) – One person was injured in a house fire in Queens on February 18.
At approximately 9:00 a.m., on Saturday, crews were sent to the scene of the incident to render aid and determine the cause of the blaze.
Firefighters report the fire took place on Beach 29th Street in Far Rockaway. After arriving at the residence, fire crews conducted a search of the entire home.
One man was rescued from the building just before flames burned through the roof. He was treated for injuries at the scene by EMS. At this time, his name has not been reported.
The incident is currently under investigation by police in Queens.
