Queens, NY (May 10, 2023) – A person was injured after being hit by a gray Toyota on the evening of May 10th at 45-42 Ditmars Boulevard in Astoria, Queens. The incident was reported by a 911 caller at about 10:21 p.m.
According to eyewitnesses, the pedestrian was crossing the street when they were hit by a car. The force of the collision caused them to be thrown to the ground, and they sustained injuries as a result.
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and transported the injured pedestrian to a nearby hospital.
At this time, the extent of the pedestrian’s injuries is not known, and the incident remains under investigation.
