Queens, NY (April 7, 2023) – An auto-pedestrian collision left one person hurt on Friday morning, April 7th, in the Sunnyside section of Queens. According to reports, it occurred at the intersection of Queens Boulevard and 33rd Street around 11:14 a.m.
Local officials say that a motor vehicle entered the junction and hit a person who was walking through the area. The pedestrian was injured as a result of the crash, and emergency responders were summoned to the scene moments later.
Upon arriving at the crash site, EMS crews worked to assist the injured pedestrian. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital to undergo further evaluation and care.
There are no details available on the condition of the victim at this time. The events that led to the collision are under investigation.
