Queens, NY (February 9, 2023) – Police received a report of a person struck by a motor vehicle on Thursday morning, February 9th. The incident occurred at around 9:28 a.m. in the Richmond Hill neighborhood of Queens.
Reports provided by law enforcement show that a person was walking in the area of 133-15 Jamaica Avenue. For unknown reasons, an unspecified type of vehicle entered the area and collided with the pedestrian.
Emergency responders were promptly dispatched to the scene to assess the incident and assist the victim. Paramedics worked to help the wounded party, who was then transported to a local Medical Center for additional care.
Neither the identity of the victim nor the seriousness of their injuries has been confirmed.
The events that led to the incident are being investigated by authorities at this time.
