Queens, NY (February 23, 2023) – Early on Thursday morning, February 23rd, a two-vehicle accident with injuries was reported in the Glendale area of Queens. Authorities say the crash happened at approximately 6:36 a.m. for reasons that are under investigation.
Official crash reports show that two vehicles collided along Jackie Robinson Parkway after approaching the junction with Cypress Hill Street at the same time. Multiple responders, including police, EMTs, and firefighters arrived at the scene to assist the occupants of the vehicles involved.
Those who required extensive medical care were taken to nearby medical facilities for further evaluation and treatment. Authorities have not provided any information concerning the specific conditions of the victims.
The intersection was closed down for a duration of time while crews worked to clear the scene. An investigation into the cause of this incident is ongoing.
