Queens, NY (February 25, 2023) – On February 24, officers with the New York Police Department were dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of an accident in the Sunnyside section of Queens that left one pedestrian injured.
Preliminary reports show that a pedestrian was walking in the area of 38 – 15 Greenpoint Avenue during the morning hours when they were struck by a vehicle.
The pedestrian was injured as a result of the crash. Emergency medical services responded to care for the victim at the scene. The pedestrian was then transported to a local hospital for further care.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
