Ramapo, NY (July 25, 2023) – On July 24, 2023, at 11:45 p.m., a pedestrian accident killed a young Rockland man.
A 62-year-old pickup truck driver hit a 32-year-old Sloatsburg resident on Route 17 in NY.
Ramapo police reported that the pedestrian died in the crash.
The driver was in a 2008 Ford F150.
Ramapo Police Department’s Crash Investigation Unit investigated the accident immediately.
While authorities investigate, the community mourns the young life lost.
