Rapid City, SD (September 18, 2023) – On Saturday, September 16, 2023, a Chevrolet Silverado struck a pedestrian on I-90, a mile east of Belvidere, at 2:07 a.m.
Both individuals involved were 55 years old. Their names remain undisclosed.
The pedestrian had entered the highway from the median. The Silverado driver couldn’t brake in time, causing a fatal collision.
The pedestrian died from their injuries. The driver remained unharmed.
The investigation is still ongoing.
