Raritan Township, NJ (January 6, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle crash late Saturday night in Hunterdon County left four people injured, including one man with severe traumatic head injuries. The collision occurred just before 11:45 PM at the intersection of Route 31 and Walter Foran Blvd, according to authorities.
A 45-year-old Flemington man driving east on Walter Foran Blvd collided with a northbound pickup truck on Route 31. Following the crash, the man’s car caught fire, and responding officers used fire extinguishers to douse the flames. He was extricated from the vehicle and transported to a hospital, where he remains in critical condition. His current status has not been updated.
The 63-year-old driver of the pickup truck, a Trenton resident, and his two adult children, who were passengers, were also injured and taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation, and further details have not been released.
