Richmond, MN (September 18, 2023) – Two teenagers were hospitalized following a crash in central Minnesota on Sunday, September 17, 2023.

The incident occurred shortly after midnight in Munson Township, west of Richmond in Stearns County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 17-year-old female was driving a Hyundai Elantra southbound on Hwy 22 when she lost control, resulting in a rollover.

Both the 17-year-old driver and her 16-year-old passenger were transported to CentraCare Paynesville in Paynesville for treatment of their injuries.

The crash is under investigation, and authorities are working to determine its cause.

The investigation is still ongoing.
