Roanoke, VA (January 18, 2023) – One person has died following a car crash that took place on Monday morning in Roanoke. According to law enforcement, on January 16, a vehicle collision occurred in the 4000 block of Brandon Avenue Southwest.
The incident involved a vehicle that was traveling east on the roadway when the driver lost control. As a result, the vehicle collided with a westbound vehicle.
One person involved in the crash was fatally injured. A second victim suffered severe injuries that required medical care. Roanoke Fire-EMS personnel responded to the scene to care for the victim and transfer them to an area hospital. The victim was identified as an adult male.
