Roanoke, VA (September 19, 2023) – A high-speed police chase originating in Roanoke City culminated in a rollover crash in Botetourt County on Monday, September 18, 2023.

Virginia State Police initiated the chase after observing a driver traveling at 75 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Despite police efforts, the driver didn’t stop, eventually crashing at the intersection of Route 11 and Route 220A.

The pursued vehicle overturned during the crash.

Injuries remain uncertain as of 11 p.m. Monday.

The investigation is still ongoing.
