Rochester, MN – Collision on Hwy 14 in Kalmar Twp Results in Injuries

Rochester, MN (November 19, 2023) – A two-vehicle collision occurred on Highway 14 at mile marker 204 in Kalmar Township, Olmsted County, on Saturday, November 18, at around 4:30 p.m. A Landrover, attempting to turn onto Highway 14 from County Road 3, collided with a westbound Ford Mustang. Dan Chen, 39, from Byron, MN, was driving the Landrover.

Joseph Pearson, 68, and his passenger, Susan Mary Pearson, 61, both from Kasson, MN, were in the Ford Mustang. Susan Pearson sustained injuries and was taken to Saint Mary’s Hospital. Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office and Bryon Fire MCAS responded to the scene. Both vehicles were equipped with seat belts, and alcohol was not a factor in the collision. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
