Rochester, NY (April 6, 2023) – A traffic collision was reported to have resulted in injuries to the occupants of at least one of the vehicles involved on Thursday morning, April 6th. Authorities say that it happened at about 10:55 a.m. in the city of Rochester.
According to reports filed by the Rochester Police Department, multiple vehicles collided in the northbound/southbound lanes of Dewey Avenue at the intersection with Lexington Avenue. Several responders were dispatched to the scene following the crash to provide assistance and assess the resulting damage.
RPD officers requested EMS crews at the accident site, where they arrived, to help those who were hurt in the collision. All wounded parties who required additional care were taken to local medical facilities as needed.
The conditions of the victims have not been verified at this time. Police investigators are working to establish the cause of the accident.
