Rochester, NY (February 24, 2023) – Law enforcement officials with the Rochester Police Department confirmed injuries following a motor vehicle accident in the city. The crash happened at the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and West Main Street on Friday morning, February 24th.
According to the RPD, two or more automobiles collided in the northbound/southbound lanes of Jefferson Avenue moments after approaching the crossroads at the same time. Emergency dispatchers summoned police, paramedics, and firefighters to the area to assist the wounded parties and secure the scene.
After arriving at the crash site, emergency medical technicians provided medical aid to the victims involved. Those who required additional treatment were transported to local hospitals as needed.
