Rochester, NY (March 17, 2023) – Authorities with the Rochester Police Department say that two or more vehicles were involved in a collision on West Ridge Road, and injuries were reported as a result. It happened on Friday morning, March 17th, at about 8:00 a.m.
Reports show that the involved vehicles collided in the westbound lanes of West Ridge Road, between the Veteran’s Memorial bridge and Maplewood Drive. Either someone involved in the crash or a nearby witness called authorities and dispatchers immediately sent emergency crews to the scene.
After arriving in the area, responders worked to help those who were wounded in the crash and promptly cleared the scene. Injuries were confirmed as a result of the collision, but no details have been provided regarding the conditions of the patients.
Law enforcement officials are conducting an investigation to determine the events that caused the accident.
