Rochester, NY (May 7, 2023) – A 37-year-old motorcyclist lost his life after a traffic accident happened in Rochester. The incident occurred just before 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 7.
According to reports, a motorcycle was traveling south on Seneca Avenue when another motorist was crossing Seneca Avenue at the same time at Northfield Road.
Authorities say the motorcycle and the vehicle collided, causing the motorcycle to spin and eject the motorcyclist. EMS transported the motorcyclist to Strong Hospital, where he lost his life, police said.
The driver of the vehicle, age 25, sustained no injuries in the crash. They stayed at the crash scene and cooperated with authorities.
Police in Rochester continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
