Rochester, NY (April 2, 2023) – The Rochester Police Department and local firefighters responded to the scene of a crash on Saturday afternoon that left two people injured.
On April 1, calls for assistance were received regarding an auto accident on Carter Street.
Reports show that a vehicle was traveling eastbound on Avenue D when it collided with a southbound car at the intersection of Carter Street. The impact of the crash caused one vehicle to roll onto its side.
The Rochester Fire Department responded to the scene to extricate the victim from the vehicle.
Two people involved in the crash, identified as a 21-year-old woman and a 55-year-old woman, were both injured. The two victims were transported to Strong hospital for further care.
The crash remains under investigation.
