Rochester, NY (July bn8, 2023) – A woman suffered critical injuries after she was struck by a vehicle in Rochester. At approximately 2:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon, July 7, responders went to the scene of the collision to render aid and investigate.
Sources say the crash happened on Midland Avenue when the woman, age 62, was hit by a vehicle and severely injured. She was transported to Strong Hospital, where she underwent surgery for critical injuries.
The following Monday morning, she passed away. Investigations conducted by law enforcement show the vehicle that struck the woman left the scene without stopping to render aid. Authorities in Rochester continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
