According to the Wood County Sheriff's Office, the crash took place when a pickup truck traveling north on Highway S failed to yield the right-of-way and collided with an SUV traveling west on Highway C. The impact caused both vehicles to come to a stop in the northwest ditch, with the SUV overturning onto its side.
