Rushford, MN (March 12, 2025) – Emergency crews responded to an injury crash early Tuesday morning involving a pickup truck on Highway 43 at Park St E in Rushford, Fillmore County.
According to reports, a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling southbound on Highway 43 when it struck a parked vehicle, a light pole, and a fire hydrant along the southbound shoulder. The crash occurred around 8:37 a.m., prompting an emergency response from Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office, Rushmore Police, and local ambulance services.
The driver of the Silverado, identified as 91-year-old Myron Dale Bunke of Rushford, MN, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Winona Health for treatment. Authorities confirmed that he was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
