Sacramento, CA (September 18, 2023) – A woman died on Saturday, September 16, 2023, after being hit by a vehicle on the eastbound lanes of I-80 during a police pursuit.
The chase on Marysville Boulevard I-80 led to a multi-vehicle crash around 3:51 a.m.
One of the vehicles struck the woman, leading to her instant death.
Authorities haven’t released the woman’s identity yet.
It’s unclear if drugs or alcohol contributed to the incident.
The investigation is still ongoing.
