Sacramento, CA (September 19, 2023) – A traffic collision occurred on I-5 South near the Yolo Rest Area offramp on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 12:13 a.m.
The accident involved a black sedan and a semi-truck.
Initially reported as requiring an ambulance, CHP confirmed injuries later.
The sedan, found on its side, had overturned in the center divider.
Authorities also searched for involved parties near the airport and the rest area.
One individual was located in the rest area restroom, with another near the freeway.
A tow truck was dispatched to the scene.
CHP continues its investigation into the incident.
