Rollover Accidents in California
Rollover crashes, like the one at Excelsior Rd and Florin Rd in Sacramento County, are particularly dangerous and often lead to serious injuries. These accidents are commonly caused by high speeds, abrupt lane changes, or adverse weather conditions, such as fog.
According to the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS), thousands of rollover accidents occur statewide each year, many of which result in injuries or fatalities. Reduced visibility due to fog and wet road conditions significantly increase the risk of vehicle rollovers and multi-car collisions.
