Salina, NY – Pedestrian Struck by Car on Old Liverpool Road Leaving Her in Critical Condition

Salina, NY ( July 22, 2023) – A 46-year-old woman was critically injured when struck by a car on Salina’s Old Liverpool Road.

A 22-year-old woman driving on Old Liverpool Road called the Onondaga County Sheriff’s office shortly before 11 p.m. to report that she had hit a pedestrian in the southbound lane.

After dialing 911, the driver administered first aid on the scene.

Paramedics took the pedestrian to Upstate Hospital, where her condition was critical.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, the driver has not been issued any citations.

An investigation into the incident has begun.
