Salisbury, MD (February 1, 2023) – Emergency officials were called to provide assistance at the scene of a traffic crash that took place in the Salisbury area that ended in injuries. On January 30, emergency officials were notified that a traffic crash had taken place on Salisbury Bypass.
At approximately 8:20 a.m., a traffic accident took place on Salisbury Bypass in the area of Route 50.
The incident blocked multiple lanes in the area, prompting the Maryland State Police and firefighters to secure the roadway as they provided assistance at the scene.
Injuries were confirmed as a result of this traffic accident. EMS reported to the site of the crash to provide care to the victims who suffered injuries. At least one of the involved parties was transported to a local hospital for further care.
The circumstances surrounding the traffic accident are currently being investigated.
